Oh my goodness, Conde Nast announced this morning that Gourmet and Cookie magazines will be shut down for financial reasons, according to the New York Times. They're both such gorgeous, smart, entertaining and life-affirming magazines, produced by incredibly talented people, and and all us devoted readers will be heartbroken to see them go.Condé Nast plans to announce it will also close Modern Bride and Elegant Bride. Earlier this year Portfolio and Domino were shut down, along with folding Men’s Vogue into Vogue.
