This is the new IKEA catalogue. I haven't seen it yet because I haven't shopped there recently. They seem to have gotten stingey with their distribution of it. It used to come in the Sunday LA Times.
The current catalogue is published in 55 different editions, in 27 languages for 35 countries. It has surpassed the Bible as the most published work, estimated 175 million copies (2006) worldwide. The first catalogue was published in 1951. The images above and below images are from the 1965 catalogue. Funny that this 44 year old catalogue still has a familiar look!
